Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology has been widely used in various fields of construction management. Building information modeling (BIM) is a set of technologies and organization solutions that are expected to increase affiliation and disciplinary collaboration in the construction industry and to improve the productivity and quality of the design, construction and maintenance of building. The integration of RFID and BIM has many application in the lifecycle management for buildings. This paper provides an overview of usage BIM and RFID and their integration s benefits. By attaching tags to materials, workers, assets and locating them usage of RFID technology for localization of RFID equipped assets and workers, safety and facility management, monitoring and visualization for construction H&S management in a BIM model has investigated in this paper. The aim of this research is to develop framework of using RFID and BIM by reviewing and classification several research.
